DecoEcho

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

The short version: DecoEcho collects nothing. It has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Your cards, decks, and study history stay on your device and in your own iCloud. We never see them.

Who we are

DecoEcho is published by Lincoln Road Apps. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. DecoEcho does not ask you to create an account, does not include analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, does not contain advertising, and does not use tracking technologies of any kind. Its App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected.”

Where your content lives

The cards, decks, subjects, notes, and study progress you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard app storage. If you have iCloud enabled, that content also syncs through your own private iCloud account so it is available on your other devices.

That iCloud data is governed by your agreement with Apple and is accessible only to you. Lincoln Road Apps has no access to it, no ability to read it, and no copy of it.

Features that use your device

AI card generation

DecoEcho Pro can turn pasted notes or a scanned photo into flashcards. This uses Apple Intelligence models running on your device. The text or image you provide is processed locally and is not sent to Lincoln Road Apps or to any third-party AI service.

Translation and text-to-speech

Translation and spoken playback use Apple's system frameworks on your device. Depending on your iOS settings and which language packs you have downloaded, Apple may process some of this on its own systems under Apple's privacy policy. This never involves Lincoln Road Apps.

Wikipedia autofill

If you use Wikipedia autofill, DecoEcho sends the topic you typed directly to Wikipedia's public API in order to retrieve a summary. This request goes from your device to the Wikimedia Foundation and is subject to their privacy policy. It does not pass through our systems, and we do not log it. If you never use the feature, no such request is ever made.

Purchases

DecoEcho Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment card, or billing address. Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been purchased on your Apple Account.

Children

DecoEcho is safe for students of any age precisely because it collects no data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because we do not collect personal information at all.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Those rights are satisfied here by design: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete. You control all of your content directly, by editing or deleting it in the app, deleting the app, or removing its iCloud data through your device settings.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so.

Data breaches

Because we operate no servers and hold no user data, there is no store of personal information that could be breached on our side.

Changes to this policy

If DecoEcho ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
