Lumavault
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026
The short version: your photos never leave your iPhone. Lumavault has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. It reads your photo library only to analyze it on your device, and it collects nothing.
Who we are
Lumavault is published by Lincoln Road Apps. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Lumavault has no user accounts, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking technologies. Its App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected.”
How your photos are used
Lumavault asks for access to your photo library because it cannot do its job otherwise: to find duplicates and near-identical shots, it must compare images against one another across the library.
That access is used exclusively for analysis performed on your device, using Apple's PhotoKit and Vision frameworks. Your photos and videos, and the results of analyzing them, are never uploaded, never copied off the device, and never transmitted to Lincoln Road Apps or to anyone else. We have no technical means of seeing them.
You can review or revoke photo access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Lumavault.
Deletion is always yours to confirm
Lumavault never deletes anything automatically. It builds a queue of suggestions that you review and confirm. Deletion is then carried out by iOS itself, which moves the items to the Photos app's Recently Deleted album, where they remain recoverable for 30 days.
Purchases
Lumavault Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment card, or billing address. Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been purchased on your Apple Account.
Third parties
Lumavault includes no third-party SDKs that collect data, and it does not integrate any advertising network, analytics provider, or external AI service. The only party involved in your use of the app besides you is Apple, in its role as the App Store operator and the provider of the on-device frameworks and iCloud, under Apple's privacy policy.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because we do not collect personal information at all.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Those rights are satisfied here by design: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete. Your photos remain entirely under your control in the Photos app and in your own iCloud account.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we have never done so.
Data breaches
Because we operate no servers and hold no user data, there is no store of personal information that could be breached on our side.
Changes to this policy
If Lumavault ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
